There’s nothing simple about EHDS.
Are we an EHR or not? Do we have to worry about secondary use obligations? What about the logging requirements?
If you’re having difficulty answering these questions or you’re nervous that your company should be doing something it’s not in order to meet EHDS, take a look at the resources offered on the Ringholm website:
Kudos to Rene Spronk and his colleagues who have been working for years deciphering, breaking down and summarizing what’s inside EHDS.
Here are some of the questions tackled:
What is an EHR? https://www.ringholm.com/ehds/ehr.htm
What are the Priority Categories? https://www.ringholm.com/ehds/priority-category.htm
How does GDPR play into all this? https://www.ringholm.com/ehds/gdpr.htm
What about Article 9? https://www.ringholm.com/ehds/article-9.htm
Many of the individual articles are summarized directly, and key terms as they’re understood by EHDS are examined in the glossary at the bottom of the main page.
A resource worth bookmarking and passing around the internal Teams and Slack channels.
