Saving FHIR Search Queries

Yesterday we reached a key milestone with the Vanya FHIR viewer.

You can now save lists of search queries and run them whenever you want to against any FHIR server you have access to.

It’s a small thing but it makes all the difference.

Here’s what it looks like.

I designed Vanya for developers and teams who need quick access to the data in their FHIR servers.

For devs who are tired of parsing 1,000s of lines of JSON in Postman trying to find the Patient resource.

I’ve said for a long time that I wanted to replace Postman for FHIR. Being able to store search queries takes Vanya one step closer.

Visible OperationOutcomes — one of my favorite features. It was a toss up between this and the hierarchical resource view.
