What I love most about the FHIR DevDay videos is the diversity.
Diversity of speakers and diversity of topics. Beginner and advanced, dev and doctor, there really is something for everyone.

140 videos from DevDays in June went live on Youtube yesterday. I recommend you spend some time browsing through them.
Find something in your area or in an area that you’d like to learn more about. Then bookmark it for later.
Each presentation runs between 20 and 45 minutes. The speakers are generally those working with FHIR on the ground — no sales and marketing pitches.
There’s usually a screen share as they walk you through a project they worked on over the past year or a field they specialize in.
Here are a few presentations I’ve tagged for later:
- Generative AI and FHIR in the Mayo Clinic Cloud
- Using FHIR Terminology Within Data Analytics
- Architecting Explainable AI Decision Support on FHIR
- Automate the Prior Authorization Process
And a topic that I’ve expressed negative opinions on in the past that I’m eager to be proven wrong about:
- Transforming HL7 version 2 to FHIR
Hopefully I’ll learn something new that I can bring to projects I’m working on.
