The FHIR learning curve is deceptive, not just at the technical level but at the business and leadership levels as well.
There are snake pits a project can fall into because nobody knew to look out for them. Cul-de-sacs your teams can spend months working on before realizing they lead to dead ends.
FHIR is filled with these “unknown unknowns.” Hidden problems that can delay or even kill a project.

If you have a big project coming up with FHIR playing a central role, I recommend you come to Amsterdam this June. You don’t need to attend the entire conference, but this one day could save your project.
Don’t send your devs, come yourself.
If you send your devs because it’s a “technical” conference, you’re making your first big mistake.
