I help companies and teams make better FHIR decisions. I can work with you at different stages of your project, helping in different ways.
Here are some straightforward ways to work with me.
1. Strategic Advisory Partnership
I become part of your team for important decisions, available to senior leadership and to your project and team leads when required. I help you review progress on upcoming FHIR decisions, identify problems before they become expensive to fix, plan architectural approaches and make sure the team is aligned on priorities and doesn’t miss anything important.
This is an ongoing partnership with a minimum 3 month commitment, where I become a key resource in your project.
Typical duration: 3-12 months (weekly or daily calls & on-demand access)

2. Developer Guidance Subscription
I provide ongoing support for technical teams and help them build or refine their FHIR work. Weekly or bi-weekly calls, plus questions in between as and when required.
Typical duration: Ongoing monthly.
3. FHIR Architecture Blueprint
I help you navigate key architectural decisions in the early stages of your FHIR project. What do you need to build and how should you build it? What can you buy and which vendors best meet your needs? Mature projects that have gone wrong can also benefit from this option.
Typical duration: 3-4 days (longer for more complicated projects)

4. FHIR Vendor Selection
I help you choose the right FHIR server for your specific needs. I provide clear comparisons between server providers as well as a written recommendation. A shortlist of three vendors can be provided if required for tenders and decision making. Access to the project’s product and technical leads as well as insight into future product direction is required.
Typical duration: 2-3 days.
5. FHIR Hiring Advisory
If you’re hiring for a FHIR-related role, I help you hire the right person and avoid costly mistakes. I review candidates, draft key questions, join interviews if needed and give you a clear “hire” or “don’t hire” opinion.
Typical duration: Spread over 1-2 weeks.

6. FHIR Risk Audit
An in-depth review to highlight problems with your project. I provide a list of risks, what they mean and how you might fix them. The more access you can provide the more useful and successful the audit. Examples of access are architectural diagrams, data models, test FHIR servers, meetings with architects and team leads, etc.
Typical duration: 2-4 days (longer for more complicated projects).
7. Custom Engagement
If what you need doesn’t fit neatly into an existing option, we’ll build something together that works for you. We start by talking through your goals and then agree on the best way forward.
Typical duration: Depends on scope.
